Guest Rowers

We love to connect with visiting rowers!

You can email ahead of your visit us at info@boulderrowing.org to inquire about a guest rowing opportunity.

Before joining a BCR row, you must create an account at Boathouse Connect.

Select Boulder Community Rowing/BCR as your club — this is how coaches will place you in a lineup, send text/email updates, etc.

Once you are in Boathouse Connect and have created an account you will need to go to the Finances section and add a payment method for the drop-in fee. First guest row is free; otherwise there is a $30 drop in fee for non-members.

Next, in the Groups section join the Visiting Rowers Group. Then visit the “my attendance” area and select the practice you will attend. The Club Squad practices are the ones you’ll want to join — use the My Attendance tab to let us know when you’d like to row.

At the end of the month, BCR will automatically bill you per practice.

Note that on weekday practices, despite the reservoir being closed to the public, BCR pays for a gate staff in the early mornings. Your gate fee is included in the drop-in price for weekday practices. For Sunday practices there is a fee to pay at the front gate.

Please review the resources page and BCR’s safety protocols — we are dedicated to providing a safe rowing experience for members and visitors alike. There are waivers that you must complete before joining us for a row, and you must be a current member of US Rowing.
